Ashburn's most prominent hot pot spot closes at One Loudoun
Hot Pot Legend, a Chinese hot pot restaurant at One Loudoun in Ashburn, has permanently closed after more than five years in business. The 5,300-square-foot space is now available for lease.
Hot Pot Legend has shuttered its location at One Loudoun shopping center in Ashburn. The restaurant, which occupied a prominent corner unit at the entrance off Russell Branch Parkway, appears to have ceased operations permanently. A reporter confirmed the closure on a recent Saturday afternoon when the doors were locked and the interior was dark. The Google business listing now displays "permanently closed," the restaurant's website has been removed, and the phone line directs callers to voicemail. The landlord has listed the 5,300-square-foot space as available for lease.
Since it opened in January 2021, it held one of the most prominent spots in the center: the 5,300-square-foot corner unit at the entrance. Diners chose from a menu of meats and vegetables and cooked them in broth heated on burners in the center of each table.
This closure marks the second significant restaurant exit from One Loudoun in recent months. City Tap House restaurant departed from the center in May 2026. An original Hot Pot Legend location in Rockville, Maryland closed several years prior. No information has been released regarding potential future tenants for the large retail space.
